I purchased a 71 EB for $500. Ran rough and looks really rough. When you shut the door, enough rust falls out to choke a horse (ha ha). After install all new primary ignition, flushing the pond out of the radiator, rebuilding the card and changing the oil, the thing ran better than my 07 F150. Drove to get inspected and they laughed cause of the football sized holes ALL over it (thank you, salty winter roads). The whole entire body inside and out is this way. I'm not rich so spending over $5000 on new tub and paint is out of the question. Plus, its for wheeling and sometimes driving to work. Finding good used tubs that are worth the trouble are extremely hard to find. So I was thinking about a B2 body or even a ranger, they are more plentiful and they look as if they will fit. If anybody knows of some information on this, I would greatly appreciate it. I really would.

Tear into that 71 and you will find that it is not only the body thats rusty it's easier to salvage what good parts you have and build a ranger or bronckett with the strait axle 302 and nine". I have done a couple different rangers one with a 351W 435 np 208tc and one for mudd racing with a wicked 460 c-6 bw 1345 60 rear and 44 front ran 44" swampers and tractor tires the frames are stout but best to be able to do some fabrication cause there is no lincoln log kit out there. but old bronco running gear is nice under a stranger or bronckett

Well, I did check out the frame and it is truely rust free and solid. My question is, will a Bronco II body fit on the EB frame? This way I know the suspension kit will hold the V8 with no problems and there are taller lifts for the EB. I just think that it would be an easier and safer way of going about it.
