chevy 4.3l swap into 82 datsun 720 4x4

hi i am looking to swap in a chevy 4.3l into my datsun 720 4x4 i want to do a turbo 350 and a np205. any input would be great first time doing it looking for a wiring harness motor mounts adapters and so forth.

are you gonna use a carb or fuel injection?

This sounds like a cool project. Is the engine and tranny just something you have sitting around, or are you specifically wanting these. Why not swap in a Nissan VQ40 (4.0L in the newer trucks) which should produce a little more power and keep it all Nissan? Even better, swap in a VK56DE which is the current Endurance V8! Ok, now I am just starting to dream... Post up if you get this project to work regardless of what you use.

I would stick with the chevy because there are plenty of parts for them. If you really want to gain more horse power, do a body lift and then swap in a chevy 305 or 350
|

go with the 4.3l, you can get weld in motor mounts from 4x4parts.com
i'm doing the same conversion and looking at my local used auto parts for motor,trans, wiring harness, rad & emissions control
