I have a Ford truck with a 390 that has not run in approx. 5 years, it has sat outside most of this time. A few days ago I could turn it over by the fan, but know after working on it all day it seems stuck. Cause the starter won't turn it and I can't turn it by the fan. any help would be appreciated

Cylinders are likely rusted. Pull plugs and fill cylinders up with diet coke (yes diet coke as phosphoric acid in it will eat rust and diet has not sugar to leave sugar residue behind). Let it sit for a day or two and check to see if it is loose.

Wasn't stuck wires are all F'd up so the starter won't turn i took a socket wrench to the pulley on the crankshaft and it turned right over. Just pushed it in to the shed so its out of the way.
