I recently purchased a 2006 GMC Sierra SLT Z71. The truck looks great honestly but it needs the front end leveled out because frankly it doesnt look right with the rear of the truck higher than the front. I have heard warnings about turning the torsion bars and adding keys, any suggestions from anyone who has been through this?

I have a 96 chevy with th tbars turned up, and honestly you wouldnt like it. the ride is uncomfortable and its not good for the truck either. you are better off getting a leveling kit from your local 4x4 shop. there is a company called truxxx.com that should make a kit for your truck. 3" in the front and 1 in the rear and would allow you to run 295s or 305s

The real silly part of this is that P/U's are supposed to be higher in rear than front unloaded. Nothing sillier looking that a P/U dragging its butt with a load or trailer because it has been "leveled". Make sure you realign head light when you "level" it as they will be off and you will need to re-align front end too if you raise it because it will be off too.
