does anybody out there know what would be the easiest why to do that. I already have a dana 44 high pinion front end.

Put the front of the truck on stands (all this should be done on a concrete or asphalt of course) and remove the front axle carefully, keeping all parts till finished. Slide straight axle under, placing spring bracket under spring bracket. Measure from center of tranny tail shaft to each lower ball joint, then measure again to ensure they are the same. Measure from left front frame rail to right upper ball joint and from right front frame rail to left upper ball joint. The idea is to get it PERFECTLY centered. Always measure twice if not three times. Mark the frame directly above axle and top center of axle using string and weight. If needed (depending on what front axle you have i.e. year Ford or Dodge)cut off axle spring bracket and weld in under frame bracket. Bolt radius arm (great time to have long travel arms at this point) to axle and frame bracket(you will have to get a set of frame brackets from a 78 to 79 F150 4x4, don't get used, there are after market companies that make them). Install springs. Take measurements again to ensure no movement. Put load of truck on springs. Measure again, beleive me it is worth it. If you are still centered, lift radius arms up to frame and weld them in. An adjustible trac arm bar is recommended to tune it in. Everything else is easy bolt on stuff. This is how I did a friends 91 Bronco, but with 3/4 ton axles. Hope this helps and hope that I didn't miss anything. Good luck.
