i put a new 32 pline input shaft gear in my 205 ( had to get the case boared for the bearing ) the input shaft is about 4" long form the faces of the case now. my 465 out put shaft is about 1" 7/8 from the adapter, the 32 pline 205 shaft is about 1'15/16 to 1 "7/8 in round. do i take the 2" round seal thats in the adapter out to make them marrie please help thx pete.

You need to maintain a seal between tranny and Tcase so removing and forgetting it is not a option. Not sure why you upgraded input shaft though as stock one is fine when axles behind Tcase are geared properly for tire sizes and I see no need to upgrade it.

can anyone tell me if there is a gm oil seal gasket 2 1/4 outside by 1 7/8 inside for the end of my adapter of my 465 trans that gaes to a 205 tcase ( more info )swaped turbo 350 for a 465 with 32 spline shaft. had to put a new out put shaft on the 205 tcase to marrie them, new 205 shaft is 1 7/8 round NEED GASKET PLEASE HELP NAPA AUTO CAN'T

My suggestion here is the go to a place that specializes bearings (we have a store like that near here) When you need a bearing or seal they do not care what it is out of they just match up your needs. They have saved me a few times on old farm equipment. Look through your local phone book. A regular parts store is not the answer because they are cataloged for applications not actual parts.
