Hey Ford doesn't suck.  What do you drive?  The Ford company is just going through some problems.  My Dad has always driven a ford he wouldn't drive anything else.  Ford is a dependable vehicle.  I have a 1979 f-150 stepside and i wouldn't be afraid to take it anywhere.

I drive a 98' Ranger.

Ford is going through some problems because they don't know how to build a quality made vehicle.

They need to stop putting those ( At Ford Quality Is Job One) stickers on the windows of there vehicles. I removed mine from the back window because it has no place whatsoever on a Ford.

The main problems that I have on my truck are electrical issues. Other than one of the problems that I have, the other ones don't have anything to do with the driveability of the truck.

I'd hate to admit it, mainly because I am a (Chevy) man, I do like my truck in other ways.

It to me is the best looking small 4x4 pickup in its age group, it also wheels pretty good for being stock.

I've owned it for 6 1/2 years now and it has never left me stranded, except for being stuck in a mud hole once, but that was my fault.

Other than replacing routine items like belts, hoses, plugs, wires, etc. etc. like every vehicle needs, other than the battery that lasted 8 1/2 years, the only thing that I have had to replace was the alternator.

Other than some relatively minor electrical problems, the truck is really not that bad, but I still would prefer to go back to the #1 car or truck in the world ( 60's & 70's Chevys).

Ford, chevy and dodge are all haveing problems because of the union. some of you might not like me saying that but with the union people are being paid and they are retired, and all of the employees beeing paid and all of there benifets. well the union doesnt pay for it so who does, the manufacturer. this is the reason why they are having problems, the union has its goods and bads. and for you chevy guys, did you know that they teamed with nissan.

I would never buy a new vehicle nowadays.

All of the big three so-called (American Cars & Trucks are pretty much all junk in my book. Too many imported parts in these vehicles.

I bet they never teamed with Nissan back in the 60's & 70's. (Pure American Here), (Raw Power), (Dependability), (CHEVY)!!!!!!

(Not The First Vehicle, But The Best Vehicle)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess you have a point.  But in my opinion most of the newer vehicles have problems not just ford.  Oh and as for 70s chevys My first truck was a 79 chevy stepside pickup.  My Dad bought it for me to fix up it was farm use so you can imagine how bad it was.  We rebuilt it from the ground up.  Why my dad got it for me i dont not cause he is a ford man.  It's my everyday vehicle and I like it has its problems as well but its never left me on the side of the road either.  I've gotten stuck with it several times but have only been pulled out ounce.  I also own a 79 f-150 that i bought off my friend cause his wife was tired of it and i use it to off road in i haven't got it stuck yet though i have tried.  I think thats cause it has a lift with 33 inch tires and a 400 big block under the hood.  So i think the best vehicles are the old ones.

I agree, the new trucks are not worth the money they sell them for. if chevy was still like the old days, they would had never teamed with nissan. thats just an example of how bad its getting.

I don't totally hate Ford.

Like I said in a earlier post, I do like my truck, it just has some relatively minor problems.

Since I've owned it, I've only had to replace the alternator. I had to replace the battery too, but I'm not going to count that because thats just something that lasts for so long. (8 1/2 years).

Pretty dam good for a truck that is 9 years old!!!!!!

Every truck is going to have some sort of problem/s in it's life span.

I would like to buy another vehicle ( Jeep Cherokee) for my wheeling adventures and still keep my current truck as my daily driver, but right now I just can't afford it.

Yeah, woman can be a strange breed sometimes. Most of my relationships haven't been too good either.

The only one that ever did was back in the stone age, I had a relationship for several years. One day it all ended because I didn't have much time to spend with her. I still haven't seen her for about 22 years now.

O'well, enough of the woman talk, maybe you just need to take a nice long trail ride through the woods and have some fun and move on to bigger & better things.

Good luck with finding another job or maybe your former employer will call you back.

Thank you for your support.  The good news is she gave the rings back i sold them and bought the ford truck of mine.  I use it for off road and a back up vehicle.  I am right now on unemployment and there is a possibility i will be called back in spring.  But if something better comes along i will go to it.  Right now i am spending most of my time deer hunting.

That's nice of her to give back the rings. It's good that you are getting unemployment checks. That's a long time to be laid off, but if you can make ends meet with the unemployment checks, that would be great.

I used to deer hunt about 10 years ago, but since I have no private property to hunt on anymore, I gave it up. I don't like to hunt in public hunting areas, too many *** in the woods that shoot at anything and everything.

I have thought about getting back into it though, maybe next year.

Yeah it was nice for her to give the rings back.  I do make enough with the unemployment.  The only problem i have is that i don't have ensurance even when i am employed they wont give it to me.  I have gotten used to it but i am a grave digger and grounds keeper.  I just don't like removals.  Yeah i know what you mean about hunting on public land i don't either.  I am lucky enough my Dad has some land for me to hunt on on his small farm.  He has gave me some of it to live on and hunt.
