I have an 02 dodge dakota 4x4 that is stock. My problem is the lack of aftermarket stuff for the truck, I dont need much. All I want to do is put on some rock sliders,2.5"lift,new shocks and tires 1" taller.I realy cant afford a lift right now considering there are very few around and nothing under $1300.00 .Im thinking about front spacers to at least raise the front a little .About sliders do they make them for my truck or should I buy some for a 1500 and fab them to make them fit or do I have to start totaly from scatch . Any input will be helpfull.

you can go to http://www.truckinsuspension.com and they will have what you need otherwise go to ebay and find something there. if you have a torsion bar system you can get a set of keys that will lift your front end by 2-3 inches

I also have an 02 dakota I cranked my torsion bars and put 2" blocks on the rear end i now comfortably fit some aggressive 31X10.50 mud terrains on the truck This past weekend I went out to Superlift ORV park in Hot Springs AR. and had no problems on the stage 2 trails and even climbed a couple of stage 4 (non rocky or rutted) hills with minor issues. It was nice seeing all the jeep guys faces as they watched a DAKOTA cresting the hill they just went up! I did however enjoy watching the rock crawlers in action in the rock garden that was impressive!!!!! Any way hope this helps ya out.
