I just jojed. did a search around the internet for forums for suzuki samurai, this is one of the forums that came up on a search using yahoo.
I want to find a set of 4 or 5 samurai suitable rims.I got 5 six inch stock rims on mine and with the 6 inch lift installed I want to go with a 32 or 33 inch tall tire that is 10.5 to 14 inches wide.but I gotta find a set of 8-12 inch rims and that will determine how wide of a tire I go with.
Im finding it hard to find good used rims and dont really want to spend big money as i have 2 sets of really good 30's i can use on the stock rims.my ideal tire size would be something like 32/13.5/15's
I know thats an odd bal size so probably end up with either 33/12.5's or 32/11.5's in a BFG AT or MT
thought of 33/14 boggers has crossed my mind more than once too, but finding rims is the hard part.
anyone know who sells cheap, made in china possibly...wheel spacers? Im not willing to pay $100 for CNC machined spacers when I can find alot better areas to spend that kind of money...such as just buying brand new rims that have the look im after and not bothering with spacers that you dont even see.
thanks for any tips, or oif you know of anywhere to get rims.
PS...i actually want to do this truck up more of a daily driver that is lifted and looking good, more than ahnything else. i want it done right, but right to me is different than right to someone that rock crawls or mud bogs.Im like lifted trucks and how they feel and look, but I dont like having to fix things and spend money upgrading to unbreakable parts when I can avoid breaking things by using the roads we are blessed to have LOL
thanks

The wider the tire you go with is really going to slow you down in the power department. Your also going to need power steering. Stick with 12.5 or less.

eaton makes a 15x14 inch beadlock, but with a 14 inch wide tire you should probably run a rim thats 1 or 2 inches narrower. try www.ntwonline.com look at the eaton wheels
