If you want the best possible tire for mud and no street, a tractor tire type tread has no peer here.

Best tire that Ive seen in action is the Interco (TSL) Super Swamper Boggers! Hell you can look at them online, off a truck, and in the store and know that muds gonna fly when you hit the gas! They go up to 54 inches! If you want bigger than that then you need Tractor tires. Only downside is the cost, which jumps considerably after 35". These things are BAD! I mean BAD! go look at them online if you've never seen them. They are street legal too! But make alot of noise, not good in the rain or high speed and vibrate the hell out of your truck on pavement. But for mud....these things are bad....I mean BAD! Did I mention how bad ass they are?

I can tell you with the 15 inch wide tractor tires on the rear of my 3800 lb 2wd tractor it can drive thru mud that 4x4's spin out it. Those big lugs are superb in mud but bad on wet pavement and ice. I was bush hogging some marshy ground this year due to high rainfall we had and never even spun in it. I got my truck stuck on a soft muddy grade and was digging ruts trying to get up hill. Tractor pulled it out and then drove same hill side with a back blade to repair damage/ruts and never spun even in that messy goo.

hello! SS boggers! the big treads shed mud easier. make sure you have lots of power tho.

If I had to explain it you wouldn't understand. Bogger!! Bogger in the mud sweet, if you have horsepower sweeter. Tire does what its design to do. hope your truck is up to the task because boggers tend to find your weak link. If somebody say's something about another tire being better in mud they have never personally ran a bogger in the mud just heard about it. I agree with 84 mud horse 100% Highspeed on highway is a bad situation over 90mph. Tire tend to heat up over extended highway travel and lugs will blow off on a hot summer day. personal experience! High speed in short burst no problem or all day in the mud hole. I've killed 4 tires with highway excessive speeds goofin off chasin harley's. Bad situation don't reccomend it.
