was curious if i can take an  aluminum intake manifold for small block chevy of the 80's era, widen the 4 center holes so the bolts will drop straight through and put it on a late 80's early 90's small block throttle body engine.

some have done it, they are actually drilled at a different angle...

THAT IS A VERY RISKY JOB TO ATTEMPT, BUT IT IS POSSIBLE. JUST MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE THE HOLE DRILLED SO THAT YOUR BOLTS WILL SIT TIGHT. YOU DO NOT WANT TO DRILL IT LOOSE BECAUSE YOU MAY LOSE YOUR BLOCK.
