I have little to no sympathy for people who can't find there way around the vehicle to watch for abnormal wear, tire inflation and BULGES... In fact if I walked past yer rig in a parking lot and saw a bulged or a severly broken belt, I gaurantee ya it will be flat when ya come back out to leave..... yer not gonna put a friend or family member of mine in danger from ignorance like that, just think mabey I even saved yer life too.

almost as bad.. all the ford explorer owners that ran around on their improperly inflated/overloaded Firestone tires... Ignorance is no excuse for anything.

Typically this all happens when tires are under inflated which causes sidewalls to flex more and heat up which weakens them and causes rubber to separate and bulge sometimes before sidewall cord fails and blows out.

exactly right... from what I see there that tire was under infalted for a while judging from the higher tread in the center indicating a low tire, in a hot environment that will happen to any tire whether its good or bad...

that particular bfg pictured is the old design, notice the non exsistant rim lip? which makes the manufacture date somewhere around 2000 and may also have sat for years before returning to service low on air...

get your crap straight before you go posting BS like that....

get real dude. you need to learn a few things about tires before you go trying to stir up trouble, those are maintenace and usage issuses clear and simple, not manufacture defects....

get off the ditto head bus before you end up really disturbed and ignorant.

o' you mean the thin sidewalls aren't from a blonde scrubbing them off on a curb?

suv tires don't come in white walls...

thats what every one calls the 3ply sidewall, found on most all m/t's and at's..

and the reason to use thick 2-3 ply bias tires like intercotire.com offers, including the radial trXus when playing on sharp rocks not radial m/t's that are desined for the hwy...
