I am thinking that you maybe cracked tranny case. (assuming it is tranny oil) You need to power wash it down and see where oil is coming from. A impact will not damage seal unless there was internal damage as well. It is engine oil rear main seal can be changed in vehicle but the fact that leak started with impact suggest a bigger problem here.

its not gear oil, the only place i see it leaking is out of the bellhousing inspection plate.

It is troubling that it started leaking after impact. It tends to suggest that something is cracked. Rear main seal generally do not start leaking that bad suddenly unless engine has been cooked. They engine should have a 2 piece rear main seal and you can change it with engine in vehicle by removing pan and rear main cap. One half the seal will be in cap and the other half you can tap out with a soft punch(so you to not mar crank of cap) and tap the new half in.
