I usally dont get like this but the lack ofolder nissans is unbearable.Please,Please,please build a nissan pathfinder for light trails and camping.The pathfindersrear axle is plenty strong and they get decent mileage so you should build one.

Ok.I'm back. Sorry about that,my battery was dieing so I had to try to get what I had to say done fast. The hard bodie pathfinders are great cheap wheelers. They get good milage if you keep the tire size under 33 inch and there rear axles are pleanty strong. Yes they are ifs but if you use a simple bodie lift no more then a inch you can fit knobby 33s.I have a 95 with 245/70/16 duelers on it. Yes there only 31s but this is a really good buget wheeler that doest need big mudder to do it stuff. I'm not saying its the best truck out there but for the money its a great deal that a lot of people are picking up as a first 4 by 4. It would be nice to see one as a project in the mag. That all I really had to say. I just didnt want people think I some dork that didnt know what i was talking about from my first forum.

That's not a bad idea.
Since they seem to go so extreme with their builds I was going to suggest they do something crazy like build an Ultimate VW Vanagon WestFalia or Ultimate Rigeline. ![]() Heck they rip out everything underneath anyway so why not?

I agree... I had a 88 nissan p/u as a first 4x4 and loved it... unfortunatly i didn't get to do much work to it befor I had to sell it to pay for School. In the end it was a very good mild wheeler even with the IFS. there needs to be some more mild builds on affordable 4x4's in the mag. I mean I love the high end biulds but how about building something like a nissan, into a reliable daily driver/weekend wheeler for under say 5 grand of work... it was done once befor a while ago with the 5KXJ if I remember correctly... just this time do something different and don't pick a jeep.
