My Dodge Dilemma

I recently acquired a 1997 Dodge ram 1500 4x4. Its in good shape with only 120,000 on the odometer, and it came with two sets of brand new tires. My first problem is the dashboard has a big piece missing out of the top from a break-in the previous owner had. I can not for the life of me find a replacement dashboard from anywhere on the web. I can normally find 80s model dashboards with no problem but i was hoping someone could direct me in a decent direction. I don't want a dashmat, i think they are tacky. I have checked the local junkyards and have found none. My second is i was wondering what people thought of Remmington Mud Brutes. I'm new to the 4-wheel community and i'm needing the truck for my job working in cow pastures, woods, and BFE. I need it to be reliable daily driver but still capable of going through mud without getting stuck constently. If you repost please break it down "barney style" for me seems as i'm a noob. lol.

Not sure about the dash, but I do know about Mud Brutes.

Mud Brutes are a good tire, they clean well, have big lugs, and are soft. But on the bad side, if not rotated they are LOUD, and they don't last very long on the highway, realistically less than 20,000 miles.

So as long as you don't expect the world from them, they are a good tire.

for a replacment dash go to lmc.com and as for the brute tires everything previuosly mentioned is true and it is true becuase the remignton tires are a cheaper brand then mainstream offroad tires like bfg, procomp, interco, mickey T.....etc

For the dash I have put a coverlay on mine and it works and looks great. However, my dash was cracked in many areas but no major parts missing. Maybe you contact them to find out if it works.

I feel ya on the dash mine is like swiss cheese.  lmc truck or your local dodge dealership.  remigntons are ok, but swamper tsl radial are great they last long on the road and are great off road.  I've put 60000 on my last set that's playing alot and going to work 5 days a week.
