I was just curious to know if anyone has attempted this project. I know it would be alot of work but since all of the after market folks have forgotten about us dakota owners we have to look at other options right? I need some genius tech guys to help me out, Im good with my hands but not sure where to begin. Oh by the way I don't have the spare cash lying around to go and have this done for me so any and all advice is appreciated.

I HAVE PERSONALLY DONE THIS PROJECT ON MY 2002 DODGE DAKOTA. IT WASNT TOO HARD, AND NOT TOO EXPENSIVE...I THINK I SPENT $2,500 ON ALL PARTS FOR THE PROJECT. I USED DANA 44 FRONT OUT OF A 79 FORD BRONCO, BUT I RECOMMEND FINDING AN F-250 FRONT AXLE. AND THE REAR WAS A CHRYSLER 9.25" OUT OF A 96 RAM. USED CHEVY BLAZER FRONT SPRINGS 2.5 INCH LIFT. AND FOR STEERING I USED A 79 FORD F-250 POWER STEERING BOX...SUPPOSED TO BE ONE OF THE STRONGEST OUT THERE...BUT MAKE SURE IT WAS A 4X4 STEERING BOX, MORE RIDGED....I HAVE MY TRUCK POSTED IN READERS RIDES IF U ANT TO CHECK HER OUT.
