97 TJ suspension tire and locker question

Hi, I've been Jeeper for 10 years, always wheeled in basically stock setups. I just bought a 97 TJ with the 6cyl, auto. its bone stock. I'm looking at getting a 4inch Rough Country lift. I plan to run 33's. for the wheeling I do that's plenty of tire. Its my understanding I have a dana 35 in back and a 30 up front. with the 4inch kit, I was hoping to get some good articulation with the 33's. my questions are, I was looking at lockers. by the way I don't know what the stock gear ratio is in this Jeep, but here it is. To lock, or not to lock. Like I said everything else will still be stock. What lockers, would you recommend for the front, and for the rear, or if any at all. I'm afraid of breaking stuff like i hear about with people and lockers. with the drivetrain stock, the lift kit comes with transfer case lowering brackets, will my drive angles be ok? should I just lock one or the other (front or rear), I just don't want to start replacing parts breaking due to lockers. But how about the ected, or ox? that is activated with a cable. I'm really clueless as all my wheeling has been mild, and it's gonna be 70% street use, but in michigan, snow does get deep. Any extra info would be appreciated. and suggestions on what route to take, and why. I'd like to hear from those who have experience with what I'm wanting to do with my Jeep. and when I do go with 33's what gearing should i put in? what gearing is stock? I'm anxious, but don't want to set myself up for damage. Thanks in advance.... Tom

I know this is a lot of info but this should help you out.  http://forums.jpmagazine.com/70/6886354/jeep-suspension/suspension-and-recommendations/index.html
I too am new to wheeling and had the same questions you did.  My understanding is lockers are good but not always necessary.  Also I've heard that just having lockers on the back can be good enough.  But that depends on who you talk to.  If I had to guess your gearing now is the 3.07, you will definantely want to look into getting different gears, 4.88 or something like that.

if you plan on any hard wheeling i would leave the locker out of the rear dana 35 and upgrade to a 44. if you're doing moderate stuff, you should be ok with it the way it is. also, i wouldn't go any bigger than 33" on those axles.
