I have done an engine swap. I removed a 5.0 and put a 460 into a 1990 f 150. my lift on the front doesnt look all that much like a lift my springs may be to light. I already tried new springs and they did not work. does anyone have any ideas or cheap ways to try to correct the issue to get my lift back and to bring my camber back true to make it safe to hit the trails and dirt again. please email or post back any suggestions. thanks, mark n.

You have a TTB front axle with is basically a axle with a hinge in the middle making it a swing axle of sorts. I take it that you are now sagging in front because of the added weight of 460. You might try springs out of a 90's PS F250 that has a TTB axle in it as they are a lot stouter because the PS is a lot heavier. Also, the camber angle on that axle will always change whenever there is a deflection of suspension due to its primitive design. You give some thought to a SAS up front because you are going to likely need a stronger axle with 460 anyway and kill two birds with one stone so to speak.

i would look for f-250 lifted coils, or if you want you can get airbags that go inside the coils for the extra load. broncograveyard.com or summitracing.com

Spacers under the front coil springs will restore the lost height from the added weight.
You can also use large washers with a 1-3/8" I.D. as well (remove the coil & spring seat, then put them over the lower coil retainer bolt).

I wouldn't add spacers. Want you need is heavy duty half ton coils. Trust me, they make them for the intent of big block use. Take a look at National Parts Depot, JCWhitney, or 4Wheel Parts. Anything else is pretty much the wrong way.

Block is the same. You need Vortec heads on it to use factory Vortec intake
