I have a 1997 wrangler and when its left outside over night it wont start until later in the day when it warms up it has a check engine code for a cam position senser and i was told that is a dealer only part has anyone else had this problem and can this part be bought any where besides a dealer.  

You should be able to get it at Advanced Auto and also usually it is the Crank Position Sensor that goes bad and causes starting problems. It is a good idea to change them when they get 8 or 10 years old anyway even if they still work because they do not last forever and tend to fail at wrong time and place too.  

I already replaced the crank poistion senser last week now im geting the camshaft senser code  

Advanced or Napa should have that one too.
