My daughter just got a 2005 2wd extended cab pick-up. She wants to lift it about 3 to 4 inches. Now if this was an older truck I wouldn't even be posting but these new trucks are new to me. Leveling kit, spindle kit, torsion bars? I need a little help here. Any input would be great.

Why not? Same reason some lift 4x4's because they think it looks cool among other things. Maybe they want a bit of a prerunner look. Nice thing about this is that it would be easy to regear and in stall a selectable locker and it would do a good job off road if you use your brain and know your limitations plus it would use less fuel as a daily driver vs a 4x4 and today even 1 MPG adds up to some coin over time.
