well lets see my grand fathers pick up an 04 chevy silverado step side with only 50k on it street driven only has had an est. total of $10k of repairs on it on just about everything. my fathers 02 dodge ram 1500 with 100k on it just needed a new trans and new fuel injection wiring on it est. total $3000. my daily driver 94 Ford F-150 with 130k on it has had about $500 of repairs. so which of the big three is better oh thats right the biggest the one that hasn't been owned by an oversea's company the one that didn't need a big gov't check to prevent going out of business. THATS RIGHT FORD, THE LAST REAL TRUCK MAKER IN THE US OF A. stings a little huh?  

My Chevy has over 180,000 miles with no problems at all.  Besides, even though I hate to say it, things made in the USA aren't what they used to be.  But this argument has been going on since there were Fords and Chevys, it all comes down to personal preference.  I've owned them both and had good and bad with both.  No manufacturer will ever make the strongest toughest truck, they're all about the same.

warranty? o' don't cover it? then its gotta be a maintenance problem, who is responsible for that?

ya can completely replace the drive train in the 04 truck for under 10k....

lets see some recipts with the owner complaints and the story the mechanics wrote up on the repairs...  

i am sorry it is an '02, and maintnance is the dealer always has. and it does get expensize when mechanics replace a part and it ether goes bad or wasn't the problem.

and i will tell you my opinion on chevys. i am a Ford man myself always have been. though the older chevys like 80's and back are a decent truck, but the new one are, to low look like bumble bees and break easily thogh thats through my experiences. your might be different. i am saying this cause i am sick of you and your little buddy, thrashing on me, for what i can tell no reason.

What happened to "Can't you take a little harmless criticism"  Like I said I've owned them both and they all have good and bad stuff.  And it seems like you are the one getting all defensive here not us.  We all have our opinions.
