Has anyone ever used the Sport King All-Terrains which is made by BF-Goodrich or the Futura Dakota's which is sold at Pep Boy's and is made by Cooper Tire Co.
If anyone has used any of these tires, let me know how well they work on the trail.

check out the toyo open country mt's. we have been selling alot of those at our shop and everyone is real happy with them. they ride well on pavement, have a high mileage rating, and clean out very well in both directions since they are not directional

If you live in the world of ice and snow. The truxus Mt is probably your best bet over goodyear, toyo or bfg on ice. Lots of siping. The tire will last 30,000 in a light truck with proper rotation. The tire does well in all applications but what is your main purpose???? I live in wyoming and ice is a serious situation for me. We had winter for 6 months this year. We are scheduled for snow labor day on the mountain. Its already beginning for us.

LOL, firestone all terains in the mud... buuuuaahahahahahah.
yo dude..... get real. all they're good for is the hwy and expectations of fuel mileage and long lasting tire wear. they really stink in the snow unless ya wrap chains around em. thats something ya don't need to do with the trXus. the toyos are a great all around tire along with mtz's and mtr's they make about the same noise on the pavement as the trXus and last slightly longer, theres no comparison to the truXus and the toyo m/t in the mud, thats like saying the firestone are as good as boggers...

firestone a/t's....

even these firestone m/t's aren no match for the trXus, they also only last about the same....

I've had the firestone a/t's before that came on a 98 GMC that I had and boy did those tires suck in mud, I couldn't get rid of those tires fast enough. I'm not sure about the mud around where you live but the red clay or the blackland clay around north central texas will turn any a/t into a round ball of mud going nowhere quick.

All I can say is I am glad he liked the tires and that they are the best he's had. For me, they just don't work. Sounds like you and your sister have some tires that handle mud better than an a/t can.
