4 inch blocks is a very bad idea. They increase spring wrap up a lot. You want springs here. You are going to need to lengthen both drive shafts and also install extended bump stops so your suspension does not bottom out as deep and jam lengthened drive shafts into Tcase.

have you ever ridden in a truck with 8 inc lift springs? thier not very nice but if you don't mind the ride and like the cheaper price than go for them but i would put in offroad designs shackle flip kit for the rear which gives a 4 inc lift with stock springs, so with the rear shackle flip kit and some smooth riding 4 inc lift springs youll have the 8 inc lift with much better ride and articulation, plus the shackle flip kit with also raise your pinon angle to reduce bad driveshaft angle from such a high lift, you might still have to run cv joints cuz 8 inc is pretty tall
Solid axle chevys can't be beat! My dream truck: 73-91 chevy 3500 crew cab srw with dana 60/14bolt, 6 inc long travel lift with KING shocks, 37 inc tires and a 24v cummins diesel, nv5600 and np205

Some like 4 link for flex but leafs in four corners is tuff to beat because the load is transfer to axles and ground from 8 places on frame which makes a good sturdy platform. A 4 link in rear leaves rear of truck unsupported past coils when frame was designed and stressed to be support in rear by rear shackles. The result is rather than frame being supported about 21 inches in front of axle and about 23 inches behind it, it is just supported in one place. I guess I am old fashioned but I like leafs in four corners in a hard core 4x4 and I do not care for Jeeps made after 94 with coil springs in front.
