There are three major brands that I am considering, Interco Irok 42", Interco TSL 42", or the new BGF KM2 42". I have a 1973 IH Scout II that has 4" Leafs, spring-over, 3" Body, Dana 60 front with ram assist, Dana 70 rear, 5:13's,front & rear detroits, Dana 300 t-case, IH 392 fuel injected TB & I know I will be trimming some fenderage. I live in Wisconsin so the terrain is rocks, deep mud, hill climbs, loose rock hill climbs, quarry rocks, lots of limestone ledges, did I mention deep mud? Oh yeah, and don't forget deep frickin' snow and icy roads! There's just about every kind of terrain that you can think of(no moab slickrock, but close . Also my truck will see the road as well, maybe 200 to 300 miles a month, so not much. I need a tire that will do everything and everything very well! How do I know which one will perform the best for my terrain & my vehicle. Really what I need is a non-biased opinion from someone who has ran all three and can tell me which one is the best tire hands down. Price is not an issue, not because I have a lot of money, but I would rather pay a little more for something a little better, you know, the quality & performance verses value thing. Anyway your help & feedback is much appreciated.
