anyone out there tried the petro works CV carb conversion it claims a dynoed 20hp gain ! the only thing is the intake manifold is changed also and its around $600 for whole kit ! Im gonna try buying everything but carb and e-bay the carb but wondering if its worth it .

I think that the weber is a better and more reliable carb. The kits are a lot cheaper and are pratically bolt-on. The performance gains are about the same. The other option is to try zuksoffroad.com This guy has a couple of systems that seem to work well. one of which is a caniballized FI system.

have you ever checked out low range offroad there site is pretty good and they sell the cv carb kit with or without the intake for around 300bucks. I've haven't gotten it yet but plan to shortly I have a lot of experience with motorcycles and the cv is the way to go

Stay away from the Weber especially if you are going off road. MY's kit at ZOR is the simplest kit and his support is second to none.

I agree with gecko, I run the Myside2 with a HD Screaming Eagle 44mm bore carb. By far one of the best mods you can do to the little 1.3l to get some performance out of it.
to my door for just under 600 bucks.
Myron is known for his customer service and support..

I have gathered partial data for the harley cv carb such as it is a 40-44mm CV from a 99-2006 big-twin can anyone else supply more info on the carb needed for that kit or link to someone who is selling used/refurb ones.
thank you --raticade
