The Southern Monster Truck Showdown will host a tough truck contest during the monster truck show at the Scott County Coliseum in Forest, MS (just off I-20 between Jackson & Meridian) on November 14&15.

This contest is open to any vehicle, so the name Tuff TRUCK is possibly misleading!  If it's under 1 ton and CAN be registered as a passenger vehicle, you can enter it!!  

Entry fee is $25 per racer (vehicle may have more than one driver, but must pay entry fee for each driver).  100% of all entry fees, plus $500 added by promoter will be the purse each night and will pay 1st through 3rd at 50-30-20% respectively.

DOT helmet, functioning seatbelts, battery tie-downs and a couple of other requirements are about the only rules.  We operate a fun, but very safe show, therefore our biggest rules apply to safe operation on the track and in the pits.

We can accept only up to 20 entries each night, therefore pre-registration is HIGHLY recommended to make sure you get your chance!  To pre-register, simply email us your name, hometown, date of birth, type of vehicle and which date(s) you wish to register for.  (Entry fees and paperwork will be handled on show date.)

The course will consist of dirt bumps/mounds and a small mud pit, nothing too serious, we don't want to take up all the show time dragging broken trucks off the track anyway!  

This will be a timed event, with two segments.  The first run will be for "practice" and the second segment run will be the "one that counts".
