I have a 1949 Jeep Willys frame with the transmision, transfer case, and both the front and rear diff. but the transmision and transfer case are froze up.  Is the vehicle worth fixing up for the mud? If it is then can I get an adapter to make a 350 motor bolt up? And also will any pickup body fit with only little mods to the body or frame?

If you put a 350 in that old willy's it is not going to matter if tranny and Tcase is frozen up because you will need bigger and stronger ones. Axles too. You need to figure out what you really want to go here because if you go 350 route there is not going to be much 49 Willy's left.
