what do you peeps think about zr2 blazers? i am tired of buying gas for my k5 at 10 miles to the gallon completely stock so i was looking at them, any info on themwould be nice, i know they already have a stock lift with 31's and 3.73 gears, but that is all i know about them.

Zr2 blazers aare nice but I hate to think about working on it. I understand what you're talk'n bout with the gas. My 86 K10 (stock except for holley carb, no emissions) gets 10 mpg on a good day but I love the way I can crawl into the engine compartment and don't have to worry about any electronics or special tools.

i know what ya mean, i have throttle body but it doesnt seem to be getting the mileage i think i should get. i want to do a tune up seeing as it has 208 thousand miles on it and the other plugs and wires have been in there since prob 100000 miles, so it is time, but would k+n filter actaully help the mileage on my type of setup and anything ya'll can think on better mileage would be appprciated, i plan to do this after i get off of work tomorrow. it is a 91 k5

I have a friend running 33's and he goes through unit bearings rather quickly. I'm not sure if hes buying cheapos though.
