Can anyone tell me if it is difficult to change one of these seals? Mine has started to drip and I would think that is the cause. According to the Hayse book you have to take off the rear drums. Really? Any info would be helpful. Thanks

It is not that hard to do. The hard part is getting pinion nut off. A 3/4 inch impact can make short work of it though. One warning though you MUST scribe a line across pinion stub end and nut to mark its alignment and get it back to same position when done for past preload is restored. Failure to set it correct can result in pinion bearing failure.
