there is a big problem! the rims and tires i gust purchased off a seller in my area are for the chevy silverado, but the rims are hitting the brake caliper. i have bought spacers for the rims, but to no prevail. they still hit. if there is anyone out there that could help me with my situation it would be much appriciated. my truck is a 06 chevy 1500 with 17's and i downgraded to a 16" rim with larger tires. i thought that the 6 lug pattern of rim would have fit my truck...i guess not
feedback is much appriciated

uhh you really dont have much choices, grind the calipers or get bigger wheels, i really don't feel comfortable grinding calipers and wheel spacers will just put more stress on your wheel bearings, and ifs chevy wheel bearings arn't very strong either, so sorry to say that you need diff rims,
Solid axle chevys can't be beat! My dream truck: 73-91 chevy 3500 crew cab srw with dana 60/14bolt, 6 inc long travel lift with KING shocks, 37 inc tires and a 24v cummins diesel, nv5600 and np205
