i have a chev 350 installed in an 84 toyota sitting on 36 14.5 mud terrains backed up to a B&M built tranny (turbo 350) witha 2500 stall in it. THE motor has scat crank and rods, edelbrock intake, hooker headers, a 280 cam, holley 650cfm carb, dual flowmaster exhaust (no cats just from the headers into the mufflers) oh and its bored .03 over which makes it a? 366? i dont know. Anyways a very knowledgeable guy has informed me that the stall converter, the large carburetor and the large cam are all bad things in a wheeling truck which I dont know about because well im 18 years old and my only engine build consisted of a 300 six in a bronco. THE truck is lifted 10 inches 8 inch suspension 2inch body. what I would like to do is eliminate the body lift entirely and the 36 inch swampers and put on 35 12.5 bfg MTS. (i drive this truck as a daily driver) AND I would like to upgrade the front and rear ends to accomodate the big 350 as right now they are completely STOCK. also my suspension is WAAAAY too stiff but thats another forum. I am leaking motor and tranny fluid out of my truck and after checking the valve cover gaskets cant seem to find the leak anywhere. any suggestions? any suggestions on what i should be doing to this truck first?

look around the frt crank area for leaky frt crank seal and quite possibly the rr crank seal is leaking too...also the front seal of the trans may be leaking or around the tranny pan...Id suggest to degreese the engine and trans and let it soak then pressure wash them and then youll be able to where its leaking after its run for awhile.
