I decided to just lift my truck, after days of reading forums and looking at sites Im no closer to making up my mind as when I started Im either going with a 4" with 33 on 17" rims or going with a 6" with 35 on a 18" rim. which brand of lift would be better for my truck I dont want to do any cutting and how much rougher of a ride is the 6" or 4"

Given the limitations of the chassis (frame, brakes and axles) if it is a 1500, to would go with 4 inches and 33's. You would have less problems down the road. Also this lift could very well void you drive train warranty if you do not regear truck so keep this in mind. (it could also effect bumper to bumper warranty too on front end)

If it's a 1500 level it and put 33's on it.

I have a 2008 Chevy 1500 4wd. I have the tires and wheels im going with. 33x12.5 with 16x8. I am putting a 4 inch lift on mine with the new body style that GM came out with. I dont recommmend a 6inch. but i am deciding between skyjacker or tuff country. are you paying for the name with skyjacker and/or is tuff country not that bad of a lift company. I am leaning towards tuff country any advice.
