I know they make a 2-3 inch torsion lift key, Out back you would have to do blocks or a add-a-leaf

I have an 04 dakota quad cab and the torsion keys are pretty much the only thing out there for them to lift but it only gives you about 2-3 inches and it throws your alignment out of whack, I have been trying to find a suspension lift for the 04 but to no avail. all they make for it are body lifts. you can also just crank up your torsion bars but it also has the same effect as the keys and throws your alignment out of whack

Rancho has a 3" lift kit for 2000-2002 Dakotas. I believe the suspensions are the same for 2004 but I could be wrong.

you could use it for that but the reason they don't make it for up to 2004 dakota is because of the ball joints they are different from the 2002 to the 2004 otherwise I would say go for it, I am going to be putting a coil sprung front end on my truck to be able to lift it better

I would say go with the one from fix this ride but see if you can get it cheaper somewhere else, the one from street ride pro has a tenancy of having the holes not line up on them and you don't get the shocks or anything for that price, the other ones I don't know about them but since they are for a 91-96 I would be hesitant to buy them.

go to a junkyard to find the parts to the brakes you need and $50 an hour is not bad there may be more out there that charge less but it would be hard to find.

I have a 2003 Dakota as well. I have been looking for a lift too. I found out that the differance between 2002 and 2003-04 is the brakes. If you change the calipers and the disc. the Rancho kit will fit. The differance between 02 and 03-04 brakes is dual piston on the 03-04 and single piston on the 02. I plan on doing a solid axle swap but I don't know if I should use leaf or a link system.
