I'm still hoping to make it into the readers rides section for the Magazine...

...But for now, here is a bump for Ford Explorer fans...

Thats a nice rig. I think you should make it into readers rides no problem. I got a 97' and soon a 95 ford explorer, i would love to do that to either of them, but right now i'm working on my f150.

Thanx. I'm working really hard on my f150. and I couldn't get that 95 explorer. But when I buy my wife a new baby safe vehicle you can bet your ass i'm gonna lift that explorer and turn my f150 into a trailered rig.

I'm buying my brothers 90 lincoln continental from him so Now I got my wifes 97 explorer. So i'll take any info you got on lifting an explorer w/ independant front susp. NOT looking to swap axels. I'm trying to build My explorer quick so I can start my bronco.

I'm only lifting the explorer and giving it some bigger tires and maybe fab up my own spare tire rack for the roof.

My Bronco is gonna take alot of work so i'm doing it last. It needs rust repair, New gaskets in the motor, headers, paintjob, rollcage for the back (when I take off the top, got lots of ideas for that), spare tire rack, Baja Lights, Custom offraod bumpers, some vinyl or rhino lining flooring thats washable, and a winch. I'm contemplating on a SAS. I like not having to spend almost 3G on an axel swap. For now a ttb will work just fine. I might just beef up the TTB since I like it better than solid axel.
