yeah i do to. the chassis is the main area they shouldnt skimp on strength just to get 1 more mpg. new trucks are nothing but a beer can on wheels anyways lol.

thats what i love about 73-87 GM's: plentiful, decently priced, you can work on them, and built the way a truck should be.

i have been thinkin about maybe getting a 90's model z-71(gettin to be cheap and they can be really nice on the inside) and down the road a SAS. im just kind of scary because of the frames. are they really as weak as they look or are they actually pretty stout?
