I strongly agree with you on this one. Go with the 10" lift and 5.13 gears.

No kidding. The truck in stock form costs too much. Now a lift and big tires and gears and balljoints, and brakes and u-joints and the list goes on...and on......and on..... All in fun though, right guys!

ooooo  its a half ton with a 5.3....not the best platform to throw a 10 inc lift and 38s on it but hey if its only gonna be a show truck itll be alright....don't waste your money on air intakes, programmers or exhuast!!!! you won't notice any differnece with those tires....you need to save your $$ and get the 5:13 gears for sure!!!!!after you regear it you will understand why the gears are so important!!! without them your truck will barely move and you will burn up your tranny cuz of it riding the stall from the too tall gear ratio......after you change gears i would add an intake and programer..dont mess wiht the exhuast, the stock one is pretty good...just swap out the muffler for a nice aggressive sound but you won't gain anything from putting bigger pipes on it...
Solid axle chevys can't be beat!
My dream truck: 73-91 chevy 3500 crew cab srw with dana 60/14bolt, 6 inc long travel lift with KING shocks, 37 inc tires and a 24v cummins diesel, nv5600 and np205
