I have recently started a project of putting a 54 GMC on a 3/4 ton 1975 Chevy 4x4 Chassis. The'75 chassis has the hump in the frame and the 54's frame was flat. Does anyone have any good ideas on how to mount the 54 GMC Cab on the 75 Chev Chassis?

I can help you on this one because I've done it before. Match the front cab mounts on the cab to the front mounts on the frame, raise the cab up to the point that it sits level. (You can still use the rear cab mounts also). Now you should be somewhat close to being able to bolt the rear cab mounts to the frame. The front mounts will take some fabricating. If you will give me an hour or so, I will go measure how tall the pedestals are on my brothers '50 chevy that we did this to.

I had the similar idea. Those measurements would be a big help.
