Oops is that 170000 on the rebuild or on the moter all together? I should have asked that to begine with.

Probably altogether. I drove it all last year and the odometer never worked so I finally got it fixed and then changed to 4.56s and now it reads like its supposed to, right on the money according to the police officers radar   No ticket just had him check it to see how it was from 30-65.

That 402s got it all over the smog 454.At least it should if it didnt have 170,000 on it.(that moters probly going,... YZ?...YZ...I'm tired...I need a little down time. )

YZ250JV:
The 454 would smoke that 402 any day! Its got a healthy chip and only has 105,000 on the odometer and still runs like it did brand new. The 402 is tired and has been run hard but I plan on pulling it when I get the time to install the 454 with TBI! I have all sorts of ideas and plans but just never have the time to start it and finish it with other things going on.

Well thats why.(Plus a coment or two )
C2500
The 454 is lower milage 2 wheel, and a little chip. Also built out of more plastic then 74 >

Tired less ci moter with solid axles,a heavy bumper and more mass(since it was make out of a thing thats barely used these days Called metal...say it with me METAL.Not the Almumanum foil they built gm's out of back then

Actually  it has about the same amount of "plastic" as the 74. Just more electrical stuff which is a good thing.   The sheet metal is a little thinner but still a solid and sturdy frame. Just add a solid axle to it and it will be the same as the 74. Whats wrong with aluminum? I have auto trannies and aluminum t-cases and they're stout. Gotta remember that. The newer trucks as in IFS are good trucks but I think they are better when they are built not bought. Just wait til you see the front and rear bumpers I have planned for the 91. You'll be asking me to make some for your trucks.
