ok, new question of the day, i have a 76'chevy 3/4 ton and i'm starting an engine swap, 350ci out and a 400hp 472 caddy in,the truck has a stock powerglide that's had a recent rebuild, but i have a HD th400 handy, any advice on which one??

Like this is a no brainer. If it was for sand drags or mud runs I would go with glide otherwise it would be the THM 400 out of those two.

that's what i thought, this is  my daily driver, it's just the glide has only a few thousand miles on it guess it'l go on ebay thanks

If you have the room to store it, you might just hang on to that glide for future usage in right application. They are getting harder to find and are very compact for applications with limited room (like Jeeps)
