I have an 80 f250 4x4 that I use for snoplowing and would like to convert the front diff to a 44 straight axle, anyone here ever done this? if so what year front diff did you use. Did you need to change the steering box or any other problems I might encounter? All help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I would look for a 77 to 79 Ford front drive axle for starters. Complete truck for parts would be better yet.
