i have a 70' 3/4ton chevy with 350 and 4b holly i'm dubating weather to put a TH400 or granny 4 the truck has a 456 gears

P.S I am up grad'n to 4x4 and 35x12.5x16.5 w/6" lift should i use leaf springs in front or coil springs

Forget both and use a NV4500 if you are serious considering a manual. It adds OD and a NV4500 is a much better shifter than any SM465 too. It is quite strong and more refined for shift quality as well.
