They also have THE BEST styling to date. If I got one the first mod I would put on it would be a Holly EFI kit.

Right now it has almost bald front tires(cords showing), a boogered up front end, a bed that has very amateur  body work on it, a almost new steering box(got it from a ranger with 33,000 miles on it), a new thermostat and gooseneck, and new goodyear wrangler rear tires. Right now I use it to haul my ATVs and stuff like that. I don't know what I should do with it. I might trade it in for a 4x4 f150, f250, or bronco.

Whats the rear axle?8.8 or 9.If it has bolts on the back side then its a 8.8.open rear or lsd.Did you put the goose neck on or was it on all ready? If it was all ready then you trucks pretty well beat all ready. If your looking for a 4x4 I could help you find a good one for a deal(and it would run).If the rears open then you mightwant to weld it up(spider gears) to have a cheap full time locker. That will help in the towing but you give up a little ice driving control if you punch the gas a lot.Just how tired is the 300-6.you got a job or are you a bum .

Okay let me tell ya about a manly truck .A truck that strikes fear  in to the hearts of chevy owners ...the nissan pathfinder .Haha I had you thinking I was going to talk about my 89.But no(maybe a little). Its a beast that climbs sandy cliffs, runs on side walks and is able to beat a chev our two in the muddy feild races/bogging events we have around my house. Also the thing doesnt sound ricey with the cherry bomb glass pack. Now if I was running the 302/4speed ford the little chevys would hide in there garages and there owners wont come out to play. Now the big chevys will sooner or later come out, there bb's leaking oil from the valve covers and there boggers bald from doing burnouts on the street(cool you spend your money that way). But the grey ford is to much for the chev's and there boggers are no match for the fords hawgs.I have a hood on them in first,a full leath in second, third I'm...gone.Forth we dont need no forth. Not when its the old ford were talking about.

Funny...I remember being awake? I also remember that the chev had 38s and my lil'ol' ford had 12.5/33 hawgs. And that I dumped the cluch at 2500 and shifted at 4000.I did wind it up a bit in second since its got a granny-first gear and a lsd out back. Also did I tell ya that it was a "built"454 with a th400 that I beat .Also I guess I should be trueful and tell ya that the chev still has me in the deep mud(2 feet+).My 302 just doesnt make the tourqe like the 454 does and my hawgs dont offer as much flotaion/clearance.But other then that the ford has him.

Why would you need to rev your motor to 2500 rpms and dump the clutch, the motor a bit weak? Might want to consider a 454 in that ford of yours. I know of a few guys that have done that. They call it "Built Ford Tough With Chev Stuff"!

The motors stock(weakish...the 4 speed makes up  for it) other then better flowing manifolds. If I was going to put any thing in my 150 it would be my uncles Pro built 460 thats in his dog sled truck(78 250).A 454 would probly be better in my imp(283 in it now)or a bored out 396( ).But if I did have a chevy mudder I would have to say that I would go with a 396 over the 454.If I'm currect the weakest 396 made 300hp.All the way up to 375(I think 390 in the vette)A buddy in currently put a 71 chevvelle ss 396 in to his 82 (with a 79 grill) flat bed backed by a th400.The truck is great in snow with a salter on the bed but in the mud my 89 makes it farther in 2 wheel than his does in 4.But thats cause he has open diffs at both ends.Chevy does make good stuff.14 bolt,396,283.305,350,th700r4,th200r4,th350,th400,there sticks.

I'm only 16 and right now I'm getting ideas. I might keep my truck as a work truck(a thing chevys suck at). Maybe put on a leveling kit and 33s. Also I just went camping w/ the Scouts and it was -22*F. That's COLD  I also might get a CJ7 or YJ if I can find one cheap.

-22*F?I went to work in that .Well I gotta tell you about a deal that I missed out on.1989 bronco(full size)302 auto witha slap sttick on the floor, headers, a bolt on cold air intake and 4:10 gears.4 inch lift and 2 inch body lift.Dynapro 60 rear axle(I think thats the name, its a built dana 60 thats like 1200 bucks). Some other odd N ends that I forget.Warlock mufflers.A lot of lights on the front and 35 inch swamper SSR's.Also a little bit of body work on the rear wheel wells.
1500 bucks for this truck.
Ran good,loud as hell,mudded ok.
Also it was a pretty re-sale Red
