I want to know why there isn't an off road adventure based game tightly designed on the 4 wheel and off road ultimate adventure for the Xbox 360, and other platforms. Low speed hill climbs, using low and high range, selectable lockers, winch use, different weaknesses and strengths for different career choices, available upgrades as you get better handling the rocks, mud, etc to the best of the drivers and vehicles abilities. Jeep came up with something like this several years ago for the PC but I think that having a better game for a platform would be great now.

Honestly? Games like that are boring and would never sell. There might be six people in the world that would sit and winch in a video game. I know I never would. I played that Jeep game, it stunk.

I'll stick with my high action games like Dirt and Baja: Edge of Control.

There is an xbox or PS2 game called 4x4 Evo 2 is has racing and a adventure / challenge mode. Where you explore and find damaged pipelines or a stranded plane. There is winching and 2 HI 4 HI and 4 LO in the game. The graphics are so so. I have spent a few hours just exploring the trails ect in the game I found it fun. It might be worth a try, but nothing on xbox 360 yet as far as I know.
