I have a 1990 Dodge 3/4 ton with tbi. The question is it will start and ideal and rev up if you ease on it but if you stomp it stalls then picks up. Also after you drive it for a little while it dies and wont crank for a little bit. The fuel pump works and the injectors are spraying.

On what basis are you saying that fuel pump works? It could be weak and starving out and failing after it runs for a while. If it is factory OEM pump this could be cause.

2 problems come to mind...Halls Effect is going bad and/or a bad EGR valve. You could (and should if it's a high mileage motor) replace both for under $100.

under the rotor on the distributer is a plate that run throttle response replace it its a *** to get to cheap part if its the fule pump it will act like tork lock up while you drive up and down jerking also tps sencore throttle positioning sentsor mite be bad but highly dought it alot of people dont know about diod plate so they never replace it and it gets worn and it can make it do everthing you can think of that has to do with fule and fire check that to start pull cap then rotor then filups screws 2 then plate you also mite have a air leak in the throttle body check if lose .
