I have a 1991 K1500 chevrolet with a 5.7 350 in it. i am about to install a 3inch body lift and a 2inch leveling kit for the front end so the 10,000lbs winch wont make it sag. I am needing advice on tires and what size i can fit and should use. i am considering super swamper boggers or super swamper sx/tsl. i believe that 33 inch is the tallest i can go. it will be a 98% offroad and 2% on road truck. just enough time on the road to get to the trail or mud hole

Swampers would be a good choice for what you plan to do.

my personal favorite is the goodyear wrangler mtr they are an awsome tire! A 33 12.5 or 305/70 is about as big as u want to go.

i went through the same process when i got my truck 2001.  I went with the body lift 1st, then wanted higher ground clearance.  You might save a lot of money if you go ahead with a suspension lift and run 35". changing tire size coast close to a grand each time.  if you gonna do all playn with this truck you will wont more lift after a few times on the trail or mud-pit.

back to tires, i have been mudding with friends who ran super swampers and i had BFG Muds and we ran neck and neck, the good thing is my BFG's lasted longer and when they got a little worn they didnt sound near as bad as swampers did. in the last 8yers i have had 4 different style tires and the BFG muds rocked!!!! maybe BFG will give me discount for advertisment....lol have fun bro

i would stay away from the boggers on your truck. they will destroy the ifs. a buddy of mine just put a set of 33 boggers on his half ton and the first time he had it out it broke both the half shafts. i would go with a little less agressive tire like the wranglers or mickey tompson baja mtz's
