You one of them TTB haters?Nissan are not over rated there under rated actually.People hear IFS and they think Junk!!! But there rear axles are like a ford 9 and the IFS IS better then the chevy models. But since he said mudder rock crawler then hes probly going to put a better front end in it any.A 350 is a bolt in the nissan(they makekits for it)

IFS is in Chevys too. And Dodge and Ford. Let me ask you a question, how is Nissans IFS "better" than a Chevys? As for putting a 350 Chevy in a Nissan, why not just start off right and get a Chevy. Most of them come with a 350.

Ok.WE must of had a miss under standing. The guys looking for a rock crawler/bogger.Chevy ifs is not as good as nissan's since they are under built for the trucks.Nissans are built for the size of truck there put under.I'm not saying chevys are bad but they just really under built there trucks in the 88-98 era.IFS that is.Your a chevy fan and thats ok.I like chevys to they built long lasting trucks.there good mud trucks but I wouldnt run ifs in them on the rocks.Hell I wouldnt run it in a nissan on the rocks. If you put a 350 in a 'san then you get a better weight to power ratio then the chev . We got it now?
Oh yeah most of the 88-98 chevs where the 305(WEE-O-FIVE )

You got your years Wrong on the 88-98 with most of them being 305s. That is when they started the 4.3L V-6 in the fullsize trucks. The 305s were in the earlier 80s and what about the old 307? They are different motors too. Funny thing is, I'd pass up putting a 350 in a Nissan, Go Bigger with a 6.0L. Its lighter and has more power than the good ol' reliable 350s. I'm not knockin the Nissan. They are good for what they are good for and mileage is one of them. As for IFS, comparing the size of vehicle should be done in the same weight class. That is like comparing the strength differences between a 4T60E and an Allison transmission. Not even in the same category. If you want to downsize the scale a bit we can bring up the S series Chevy trucks to compete in your mid-size area.

The 307s are in 70s trucks and 80s cars. Not the 88-98 models If I under stood what your saying(?)Yes I agree with you about the IFS stuff. But the chevys were under built. The 305s were still around in the90s.In the 80s I think they had a 292 straght-6.Lets bring up the s10a shall we .

Few and far between in the 90s. very few. I know the 307 was in the 70s. You was knocking the 305 and I mentioned the "old" 307 meaning that it is way old. Lets bring up that S10. Those little trucks are SWEET! I had a 91 Blazer that was real fun. It was 2WD when I got it and I put a set of axles out of a old Jeep Scrambler in it. That made more fun to 4wheel. What's your say on the S10?

Have both a 307 and a 305.Ones in a 91 camaro(305) and the 307 came outa my 65 imp parts car.The old body s10s are indeed cool.I almost boughta 94 jimmy witha 4.3 vortec witha cam bigger injectors and a shift kit.45-50 mph in first gear(lots of rpms). But it was rusty and when the owner took me on a test drive(ride?)he ran over a fallen log and bent the rear frame rail.

I thought you were talking trucks here. Anyway, I know of a few guys around my area that have put 350s in the S10 and one is just a 2WD but his is an exception to my point, he built his just to race at the track. The other two are 4WD and one hates the 350 because he breaks stuff too much with the amount of power it puts out but most of it is because of the stupid things he does. The other guy is actually wanting more power and is considering a BB install. Totally ridiculous if you ask me but its just a toy anyway.
