I have been a 4x4 driver for years and have alwayse loved doing it. I am great when it comes to the performance and engine part, but suspension is something I am still learning about! I have a 1979 Blazer and just wanted to know if it is ok and safe to lift my truck with blocks on the front and rear of the truck? (I want to go with 4" lift if that applies)

for the front no, its very unsafe to put blocks upfront. in the back its alright though you'll see increased spring wrap

you can do the front as long as it is just for mudding and occational road driving, people have been doing it for years i talked to my buddy which owns a 4x4 shop and he said its fine just for playing though

That is HORRIBLE information! Front blocks should NEVER be used.
