70' C-20 w/cummins ??????????

O K, me and my pa made a bet on my 70' C-20 we'r talk'n bout put'n a diesle in it (my big siss blod'd my 350) i sugested a detroit or cummins in it and he gos and says it an't posibal the bet is if i find a way to fit a cummins in the truck he will go and buy it for me SO HELP PLEASE it can be dunn right

Put a Duramax in it! Seen an 86 dually with one in it. You dont want a cummins... 6 in a row makes em slow.

never did like the d-max they dont fit me 6 in a row has more tork and i like cummins but not dodge im trying to make the best haul'n truck but thanks i need to know if it can work

Yeah man it'll work but you'll be paying a pretty penny to do it.You'll need all the electrix stuff from the dodge(old or new) or have it custom made.
Dying ain't much of a livin' From my favorite movie. Trucks... 1989 150(200k) 33 inch hawgs and a blown 302. 1995 Pathfinder(178k)and still going with 31s. Bikes. 2004 Yamaha TTR 225,barly used. Kawasaki 750 (26k) Not ran right since carbs rebuilt. !972 Yamaha mini enduro.The niceest one I've ever seen thats never been painted. New 2002 f150,fx4,5.4v8,after market tranny coolers and unirol tires.

what all do i need to take to make it easy'est way to do it and what mods do i need to make can i use a chevy I-6 engine harness to wire thedodge harness to the chevy ???????? PLEASE HELP  THANKS C20GRANNY4

You can make anything fit in anything... a Cummins would be sick!

get a 94 or earlier cummings, as they had a mechanical injector pump so you won't be spending money on wiring, you'll have to do some measurin, build your own motor mounts and i suggest finding an nv4500 tranny to back it up
would make a sweet rig =]

94 or old'r i just found out that is a 1970 chevy C20 "CST" Longhorn im still lokin for a wirer'n diagram for it i have'nt got the wire'n harnes put in (cus i dont know how help please) and can a chevy six harness work to to wirer the cummins in ????????
