Paging Kevin McNulty.....

I have been working on a very similar project. At least in the driveline area.

I have a 93 ZJ that I have stripped to the bare metal and prepped for a 5.9L from a 99 Durango. I had planned to keep the stock auto behind the 5.9L and put a D300 behind it.

I am having issues with getting the transmission to shift properly without the VSS from the rear diff. How are you working around this issue on the CJ-8? What components from the Durango are necessary to keep for the engine/trans to work properly in the ZJ?
