Body lift comfort?

truck has 4" trailmaster lift with 33" tires. Rides ok but a little spine jarring when you get travelling on some of the trails. Is there a product or means of say raising the body about 1" with some kind of "pillow" cushion between the cab and frame that will make the ride smoother without having too high a center of gravity?
Your ride is not excited, until you are.

Some basic rules of physics here, when you raise vehicle, you raise CG and decrease stability. To attempt to counter this you need it stiffen it up to try to control/counter roll that is easier to induce with a elevated CG. This results in a stiffer ride. You want to try to raise it a bit more and soften it which is going to raise CG more and the "softening" is going to increase roll tendency. If this was a pure off road vehicle that ran at low to moderate speeds you could do this better because GC and stability would not be as much a factor (though it can be on hill sides) as in a daily driver that has to be stable and predictable at highway speed and not roll easily. There are no free lunches here.

Just to make a smart-ass commrnt, a truck rides like a truck should for various reason, the suspension is designed to carry a load, pull a trailer, etc. If you want a "plush" ride get one of those Subaru outbacks or something. But that won't get you far. So back to the spine jarring truck again. I know one thing from riding with a buddy years ago, he would always give me crap about going so slow when we would go out wheelin and especially on bumpy roads. Well it sure is alot easier to go slow when you let the vehicle basically go at its own if you know what I mean as to haul tail through the roughest spots and have absolutely no control of the vehicle and it happens to just fall off the edge of the road which has about a 250 foot drop to the bottom. If I had pics of this I would definitely have them posted on this site. Luckily nobody was hurt or killed but it pays to go slow and have a smoother ride. But also, if you haven't put new body mounts on in recent years, that could be a good reason it has a jarring effect. Good times
